PlanetAnalog posted an article today (Debugging: The 9 Indispensible Rules for Finding Even the Most Elusive Software and Hardware Problems) with links to a sample chapter from Make It Fail.

I haven’t read the whole sample chapter, but so far this book looks like it has huge potential; I’ve never really seen a good book that explains the actual thought-process behind debugging (I almost said “methodology”, but for me, it’s much more abstract of a process than something that can be broken down into a discrete set of steps).

Anyway, check it out, I’m pretty impressed.
